Soulfu SVN

Post  donky on Thu Aug 05, 2010 1:36 pm

It should be mentioned that the SVN repository is still under active development, with change progressing gradually. However, the source code has been cleaned up to a decent extent, and there are a number of bugs because of this.

The most likely next change, is to replace the custom scripting language, with Python.

I'm a python geek, I've done a bunch of programming in python. I have a few projects out there most of them are python.

I should add that the main reason I am replacing the scripting language, is not to shoehorn Python into Soulfu, but rather to get rid of the custom scripting language. Most of the bugs in the SVN branch have been caused with the clean up of the custom scripting language.

Well, when and if I find the time to replace the scripting language, you are welcome to step forward and help out. But that is likely to be months down the track, so whether you will still have the interest and time then is another matter.
