Saving anywhere? autosave? Empty Saving anywhere? autosave?

i know of the versions where you need to be in a town to be able to save, but, is there any version where you can save anywhere? (and when loading you continue in the same place) or even an autosave feature?

I'm pretty sure that if you're running the Soulfu DEVTOOL.exe from Xuln's saving system, you can save and load anywhere you want.
